All you should *Truly* need is an Armour and Minipet storage...
Heck, 1-2 storage boxes should be enough.

and I hear the people who asks for armor/minipet/costumizeditems storage, but I say, every one and his own needs. a simple bigger storage will let anyone use it in their own ways.

I also like the idea of some, of enabling access to other toons' inventories. that would be nice.

Moar storage threads, imo, need to stop. Seriously, remember Prophecies? 4 characters, 1 tab, no mat storage. Didn't like it? You dealt with it. Don't be a packrat, sell stuff you don't need, then you don't need to worry about storage.

Getting rid of the tabs wouldn't be a bad thing, it would save me a couple seconds every once in a while (i.e. "Which tab did I put that inscription in?...1?... no...2?...no...3?...no...4? there it is!")

No, we didn't dealt with it. we asked for more, and we got more.

since then there were many more 'every day' items added to the game, and no extra ways to keep them, so now we are asking for more. not only to be able to have more items, but to keep the game fun by making it less tedious.

I remember there also not being minipets, tomes, scrolls (which on first release did not stack), Green Weapons, Inscriptions, DoA Gemstones, etc that end up eating storage.

you only got one character then?
with HoM we can put up to 5 sets of armor in it...so if you have oh 19
characters what u do with it all? and if u dont like all the tabs just use the
one and dont bother with the rest..doh

True, but a.net did not help their own cause.
They knew people had trouble with storage already. What did a.net do? Add hero books/dungeon guides that you have to hold on to on every character. Brass knuckles, destroyer cores/charr charvings/glacial stones/d chalices, and around a dozen minipets that you shouldn't/can't merchant.

GW:EN made the storage situation even worse.

I don't think it was ever promised, and even thought it's a nice idea, it's not really necessary. (like extra storage in the age of consumables, tomes, valued collectibles, green quest rewards, scavenger hunts, map pieces, minipets, hom-armor-filling, passage scrolls, and all kinds of other items which are used and acquired regularly but have no storage solution).

On topic? I'm all about more storage/better ways to arrange things in storage, but we already know it's not happening.

Learn to read. That picture was photoshopped from various other sources and put together. It is not the author's wealth (at least most of it isn't).
